“Our first involvement with MCS was when they were working with the UK Outdoor Industries Association on the European Outdoor Summit project in Sheffield. We were so impressed with their quiet efficiency that we agreed to partner with them to work on the 2016 Summit in Barcelona and as that went so well, they are now supporting us on the 2017 Summit in Venice.

Covering outdoor equipment for national consumer magazines means dealing with many different brands hundreds, even and that can be a frustrating process. MCS simplifies that task, providing me with exactly what I need in an efficient, professional yet friendly manner. The staff there have a keen understanding of my requirements as a writer, and of what their client needs in terms of getting their product out there. In the world of outdoor PR, few companies come close to the quality of service provided by MCS.

Businesses aiming to communicate in specialist markets require specialist expertise. When asked by those who need to address the outdoor sector we always recommend that they look to a PR agency that can demonstrate a track record built upon serving the outdoor market. And MCS’ track record of excellence is the longest and arguably the most distinguished in an industry that is blessed with some good PR suppliers.

Oase Outdoors ApS successfully defends its design rights
9th April 2010

Oase Outdoors ApS, owner of the Outwell camping brand, is pleased to announce the successful outcome of its litigation against tent brand Kampa relating to infringement of Oase Outdoors (Outwell)’s design rights of its Montana 6 tent.

Kampa has acknowledged that it has infringed Oase Outdoors (Outwell) design rights and that it was wrong to have brought to market a copy of the Outwell Montana 6 tent and has agreed not to copy the design in the future. Satisfactory compensation has been paid to Outwell.

Oase Outdoors success in the family camping market is due to the innovation and technologies used in its tents and camping accessories, therefore the company takes the design rights of its products very seriously and will take appropriate measures to protect these rights at all times.

Henrik Arens, Managing Director from Oase Outdoors comments: “We are very pleased with the outcome of this litigation. We pride ourselves in offering high quality products to the outdoor and camping markets. With this conclusion we see the matter as closed and we will continue to supply our customers with the best quality and innovative camping products in the market”.

For further information on this matter please contact Management Assistant Henrik Kjærgaard Clausen, +45 7022 8500, hkc@oase-outdoors.dk
