GoLite is the world’s premier manufacturer of outdoor equipment and apparel which is not only really lightweight but also light on the planet.
The Colorado based brand was initially launched in 1998 out of a desire by the founders to create lightweight gear, while maintaining all the essential technical elements required for hiking and backpacking adventures.
Initially launching the brand with a collection of 12 backpacks, GoLite now produce a diverse product range for use in the outdoors from hiking to cycling.
Although GoLite already had a presence within European retail outlets, as the brand continue to grow, it wanted to increase its brand identity and product awareness amongst members of the trade and with consumers.
MCS were tasked with a pan-european brief for GoLite focusing on specialist outdoor and sports titles as well as seizing any appropriate national press features. As GoLite continues to expand its product offering and develop new ranges such as the Adventure Travel collection, MCS’s brief has developed to include a broader selection of markets and media outlets.
MCS has been working with GoLite since May 2008 and to date (Sept 2009) has created over 78 pages of coverage in specialist and national publications generating over 5 million opportunities to see
